Which types of citrus are used in the Cointreau Citrus Series, and why were they chosen?
Cointreau Citrus Series is a new range of limited-edition bottles dedicated to professional bartenders in which each edition celebrates a citrus. In the first opus of Cointreau Citrus Series, Carole Quinton has selected the Pomelo (Citrus Paradisi) from a single estate of the plain of Aléria in Corsica.
At the foot of the Monte Renoso massif, between land and sea, stretch the gentle and sunny slopes of the Aleria Plain. It is in this very corner of Corsica that Cointreau sourced its single estate pomelo.
The juiciest of all, this exceptional Corsican pomelo boasts complex aromas and a perfectly balanced sugar-to-acidity ratio, with just a subtle bitterness.
