Ingredients:

1/2 baguette
2tbsp olive oil
100g Gorgonzola or Roquefort
1 peeled, deseeded pear cut into 12 slices
12 walnuts

Method:

Step 1
Pre-heat the grill
Step 2
Cut the baguette into 12 thin, diagonal slices less than 1cm thick
Step 3
Use a pastry brush to daub them with olive oil
Step 4
Grill until golden brown on both sides
Step 5
Leave to cool
Step 6
Garnish each one with a slice of cheese, then a thin slice of pear
Step 7
Add a walnut and serve
